Domain and hosting were purchased at Ploghost on December 2, 2003. This domain officially opened on December 28, 2003.
At first, I didn't know what to do with this domain. All I know is that I want one because I can afford it. I chose Blinding-Light.COM for several reasons:
- Because several sites arrange links in alphabetical order, I wanted it to start with either A, B or C so it'll be displayed on top or near the top.
- It matches perfectly with my favorite line at the time: "I don't want to look on the bright side... The light's blinding."
- Breathe.com/net/org wasn't available. I really like that word... Breathe...
Took me almost a month after its purchase to finally decide that this will become a site where I offer some stuff I made up for download. My other choice was to make it a personal site/blog but I thought it would be egoistic of me to have a domain only for my rants. I wanted it to be useful to other people.
So, this site was born. Know the funny thing? A couple of months later, I bought a domain, Self-Destruct.NET, specifically for my blog. I guess I am egoistic after all. But anyways, that's a different story... Going back to this domain...
It started out with what remained from my previous site, [WAR] WebMasters' Anime Resource, and it grew from there to what you can see now. That's pretty much it.

Trent Reznor, the vocalist of Nine Inch Nails, graces Blinding-Light.COM with his pressence! Isn't he gorgeous?!? This is an iFrame layout and it turned out ok since I don't really like iFrames. Very simple and sexy.
v02. WCIII BoxArt

Skinnable. Used the different boxart of WarCraftIII, the game by Blizzard Entertainment. There are 5 skins: Bloodlust (default), Night Elf, Undead, Human, and Arthas.
v03. Wretched

Another grayscale Trent Reznor layout! I just love him! And the image matches so well with the domain name, don't you think? Trent!!! *Sigh*
v04. Flowered

My first "light" layout for this site. It's greenish and the images used are quite girlish. Guess I'm tired of being mistaken for a guy that I want to make a statement. Images were from stock.xchng.
v05. OpenFire

This time, it's a "bright" layout. Images were from stock.xchng. This is the first time I've tested in 4 browsers (IE, NS, Opera and Firefox) and I'm happy to say that it works in all of them.

The design that didn't even last for 24 hours... Images were from stock.xchng.
v07. Immaculate

It matches perfectly with my mood when I created this at around 4AM in the morning: I felt like shit then. It took 6 hours to make. Top image was a picture I took from the hospital using my Dad's N6230. The rest of the images were from stock.xchng.
v08. Mahogany
Duration: August 1, 2005 - October 9, 2005
Took pictures of mahogany trees and some other flower shots when I was in the province and thought now's the best time for me to use them.
v09. Wheat Field
Duration: October 9, 2005 - February 22, 2006
Made this one in a hurry because I got sick of looking at the previous design. It sort of looks like v08. Mahogany to some extent. Images were from stock.xchng.
v10. RainFall

I felt bad for changing the layout because I got too attached to the previous one. Anyways, we have to move on... It features my photography. The picture turned out well considering the fact that it was raining and extremely windy when I took it. This is, by far, the longest running layout used in this site.
