As you can see, I've made small changes in the index page of Blinding-Light.COM. First off, I added the "Random Download" on top. And, there will only be 2 updates shown instead of 3.

You'll also notice that the designs and tutorials sections have shorter URLs for your convenience. I am trying to learn how mod_rewrite works so anyone who is willing to help me will be greatly plugged.

I've read a review of one of the designs offered here saying that it would look better with Flash. Sorry to disappoint you Flash fans out there but I will never make layouts using Macromedia Flash. All my reasons are explained in detail in the archives of my blog, Self-Destruct.NET. I'll list the gist here:

- I find them tacky and completely unnecessary
- Flash = Glorified Animation
- It isn't SEO-friendly
- Flash Viewer is required (the only requirement I want my visitors to have when viewing my designs is a browser)

Yup. You read that right. All the designs offered here are now coded using valid HTML and CSS. I've also deleted one of the PopUp layouts because it only works in IE5.5+ and I want all the designs offered here to look good in all browsers. The pruned items are still available for download at Blinding Light MB.

OMG! I did something I told myself I would never do! I actually validated some of the designs around here. All the layouts I made from the 22nd of August 2004 now have valid HTML and CSS.

Took me several hours to finish and there are 17 more that aren't validated. Not sure when I'll finish all of them. We'll just see...

Hello everyone! I'm back with 2 new transparent PNGs from the anime Naruto. The first one is of Iruka-Sensei, Naruto and Sakura. The second one is of Naruto. As I said in one of the previous entries, I'm addicted to that show so expect more Naruto stuff added here soon.
